A CSM and RCA alumnus, Yuen Hsieh weaponizes the friction between raw DIY grit and high-precision digital rendering. Through his signature "Dirty Luxury" lens, he unearths "truth" within digital ruins, reclaiming the narrative for underground subcultures.
As the first Asian director named a BFC "New Wave Creative," Hsieh’s award-winning films (Telly, Cannes, Leeds) have transitioned from SHOWstudio to global stages including the Venice Biennale, London Design Biennale, and Art Basel HK.
